SJIM hosted Finance Conclave on 22nd December, 2021. The theme of this year was ‘Changing Dynamics of Capital Markets’. The conclave began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp accompanied by a melodious prayer song by the college choir and a brief introduction to capital markets by Mr. Areeb Ahmed II PGDM student. The conclave featured renowned speakers from the industry: Mr. Pavan Murgod, Senior Manager at State Street Global Advisors, Mr. Murali Menon, Co-Founder of Coffee First & Project Director at Adivasi Innovation Hub, Dr. Alok Chhajer, Founder & Chief Financial Planner at Alreadylate.com and Learning & development Consultant at Dvara Money and Mr. Kishore B. S., Co-Founder & CEO of Stock Market Institute, India. Director, Rev Dr. Manoj D’Souza and Dean Dr. A.R. Rajagopalan were also present in the conclave.

During the conclave Mr. Pavan Murgod, spoke on ‘Asset Management, Client Onboarding & Revenue Management’. Mr. Murali Menon, shared his knowledge on ‘Commodities Trading’. Dr. Alok Chhajer, spoke about ‘Disruption, Capital Markets & Fintech’. Mr. Kishore B. S gave an insight about ‘Secondary market. The conclave concluded with an interaction session with the speakers.
