Mr. Phil Abernathy is a world-renowned speaker and leadership coach/trainer with a global consultancy business in Australia, Europe, and the US. He passed out of St. Joseph’s College of Commerce in 1980 and now specializes in helping global corporates transform into an Agile way of working. He believes that this enables companies to get better, faster and more cost-effective, while still creating a great place to work. His clients include IBM, Honeywell, and ANZ bank among others.

His talk at SJIM on 15 th November 2018 focused on leadership and the importance of a great working culture. The talk included several group-based introspective exercises that helped to elucidate the points being made. The discussion also covered the opportunity for students to connect with the services of Skill The Gap.
