SJIM inaugurated the catalyst centre on 9th August 2019. The catalyst center serves as a platform to help and nurture students to generate their potential business ideas in the most effective way.The program began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp ceremony while the choir graced the occasion. Fr Manoj Dsouza then welcomed the gathering and provided valuable information on how this platform paves a way for entrepreneurs.

The panel for the day consisted of the chief guest Mr Naveen Lakkur, a special guest Dr Pavan Soni and two distinguished innovators Mr Vishal and Mr Sovan. Dr Pavan, an evangelist and the founder of Inflection Point providing consultancy services to many of the Fortune 500 companies then addressed the gathering. He provided insights about the three trends, four stages and five important behaviours that is needed to become a successful entrepreneur. Mr Naveen, founder of the Institute of Inspiring Innovation having 25 years of experience, bringing 250 ideas to reality then spoke to the audience and shared his personal experiences and his principles of happiness and prosperity. He also took the opportunity to present the newly formed club with his Ideation book.

The innovators, Mr Vishal, product leader and Co-Founder of BloomIndia having 16 years of corporate experience and Mr Sovan, a full time entrepreneur, startup mentor and investor having 20 years of experience then shared their presentations with the students providing the instructions of the program as well as the ideas that have currently been presented. Overall, the program was very enlightening making all the students highly motivated to present their ideas and take part in this brilliant endeavor.
