After years of dedicated effort and commitment, St. Joseph’s College of Business Administration (now renamed St. Joseph’s Institute of Management) shifted to the new, state of the art campus off M.G. Road on Nov 26th 2016. What better way to spread the news of this spectacular new campus than with an Inauguration on March 19th, 2017 , the day dedicated to Saint Joseph !

The event was blessed by the presence of His Grace, Most Rev. Dr Bernard Moras, Archbishop of Bangalore. Rev. Dr Stanislaus Jerome D’Souza, Provincial, Karnataka Jesuit Province, Mr Rahul Dravid, Former Indian Cricket Team Captain, Shri N.A. Haris, honourable member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Rev Fr. Anthony Joseph, Rector, BJES and Rev Fr. Jason Furtado, Secretary & Treasurer, BJES were the dignitaries present for the inauguration of the new campus of SJIM.

The event started off with Mr. Rahul Dravid inaugurating the new building. In his welcome remarks, Rev. Dr S. Peter, Director, SJIM thanked the dignitaries for their presence and expressed his gratitude to his predecessors for initiating the project of a new and modern state-of-the-art campus. All the speakers emphasized that success wasn’t possible without hard work, dedication and commitment. Invoking the presence of God and seeking the blessings of the almighty, Most Rev. Dr Bernard Moras blessed the campus to the sound of enchanting hymns sung by the SJIM choir.

All those who played an important part in the construction of the new building were felicitated. The program ended on a wonderful note with an enthralling performance by the SJIM dance team.
