Chintana 2021 is a National level case study competition hosted by St. Joseph's Institute of Management, Bengaluru. Participants from over 150 business schools across the country have registered themselves to form a total of 186 teams. 

The qualifier round was a quiz based on all the management domains along with the current affairs. The top seven teams from the qualifier round were promoted to the next round where they analyzed a case on "Mount Everest - 1996" by Michael A. Roberto and Gina M. Carioggia. 

The best five teams presented their case analysis to the panel of judges consisting of Dr. Rajagopalan, Dean, SJIM, and Dr. Anantharaman, Provost, SJIM, on November 27, 2021. 

The event ended with an award ceremony on November 29, 2021, which declared JBIMS, Mumbai and NMIMS, Hyderabad to win first and second place respectively with a cash prize of INR 50,000.
