The students of SJIM visited St. Patrick’s Orphanage/Boarding to celebrate the
festive season and share the joy of Christmas with 70 children. The event highlighted
SJIM's commitment to community engagement and giving back.
Children received stationery kits, woolen caps, A4 sheets, books, sketch pens, and
crayons to support their education and creativity. SJIM students filled the air with
festive melodies by singing Christmas Carols. Fun-filled games added excitement,
with prizes for the winners. The children displayed their talents in singing, dancing,
and other performances. Santa delighted the children with chocolates and treats,
spreading immense joy. Delicious snacks ensured everyone enjoyed the celebration.
The visit left a lasting impact, with smiles and heartfelt gratitude from the children,
nuns, and Fathers at the orphanage. This memorable experience underscored the
true spirit of Christmas—giving, sharing, and spreading joy.
SJIM continues fostering a culture of compassion and service. The event took place
on December 10, 2024 and is organized by the SJIM CSR coordinator Justin Antony
Jose.
