St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM) successfully hosted its seventh International Conference—Utkarsh 2025—in collaboration with Regis University, Denver, USA. The event brought together industry leaders, academicians, and researchers to explore the theme “Environment, Sustainability, and Governance – Creating Shared Value.”

The conference featured keynote addresses by Mr. T.R. Parasuraman, Former Director of Toyota Industries Engine Ltd, and Prof. Abigail Schneider from Anderson College of Business and Computing, USA. Over two days, experts from leading organizations, including Toyota Engineering, Bosch, Saint-Gobain, ITC, Wipro, Schneider Electric, and startups like Smarter Dharma and Grewind, shared insights on ESG implementation across industries.

With seven dedicated research tracks and networking opportunities, Utkarsh 2025 fostered discussions on sustainable business practices, reaffirming SJIM’s commitment to academic excellence and responsible leadership. Out of 80 research papers 60 papers were presented at the conference. The faculty members at SJIM Dr Deepika Joshi and Prof. Rajendra Desai, organized the event brilliantly.
