The National Commission for Women (NCW) is conducting POSH Awareness Workshops for the Corporate Sector across India. SJIM is partnering in this initiative with Dr. Nazia Memon, Faculty at SJIM, sharing her perspective along with the resource persons from Jet Social Impact, Mumbai.
The ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act’ completes its 10th anniversary this year. Over the last 10 years, POSH has been a critical law to improve women’s safety in the country; at the same time, companies have a long way to go to achieve compliance as intended by the law and to ensure safe workplaces for all.
As the Government strengthens compliance and monitoring efforts, NCW:
1. Invites you to the workshop ‘POSH reimagined: awareness & best practices beyond compliance’ on Friday, 24th Nov, 2023, 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, (SJIM) Bengaluru.
2. Attendance is free of charge; certificate of participation will be provided to all registered attendees.
3. Tightening of compliance is imminent; we therefore strongly recommend that you register decision-makers and teams responsible for POSH compliance at the earliest.
