Fr Manoj D'Souza SJ of St Joseph's Institute of Management, Bangalore recently visited the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University, USA. The visit, aimed at strengthening the collaboration between the two institutions, included a series of meetings and discussions.
During his visit, Fr Manoj met with Dean Joseph Phillips and various Academic Heads of Seattle University. These meetings were chaired and coordinated by Dr Ajay Abraham, an Associate Professor at Seattle University. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for academic collaboration, exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.
Fr Manoj was accompanied by Fr Brian Pereira SJ, Rector of St Joseph’s Institutions, Bangalore, and Fr Sunil Fernandes SJ, Principal of St Joseph's Boys School, Bangalore. Their participation in the discussions highlighted the collective commitment of the Jesuit educational institutions towards enhancing international partnerships and fostering a global academic community.
The visit marks a significant step towards building a stronger alliance between St Joseph's Institute of Management and the Albers School of Business and Economics, promising future collaborations that will benefit students and faculty from both institutions. SJIM and Albers have been conducting a number of programs together and includes a MoU as well. Dr Anup Krishnamurthy, Associate Professor at SJIM is the coordinator for collaboration from SJIM side.
