Legacy and Innovation: SJIM Inaugurates the New Academic Year 2024-25


In a grand ceremony on June 10, 2024, St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM), Bangalore, marked the commencement of its 29th batch of PGDM students. Welcoming 300 students from various parts of India, the institution proudly inaugurated the PGDM program for the academic years 2024-2026.

Mr. Madhusudan Murthy, Senior VP at GlobalLogic India – Hitachi in his inaugural address urged the new batch to embrace innovation, uphold integrity, and seize the numerous opportunities that SJIM and the business world present. Recalling his nostalgic cricket matches against St. Joseph’s, where SJIM is located, Mr. Murthy highlighted the enduring spirit of the institution.

Dr Daniel Fernandes SJ, the Rector of St Joseph’s Institutions in Bangalore, inspired the students to achieve excellence by being competent, compassionate, and committed individuals, ready to serve society with ethical values. Emphasizing the institute's proud legacy and forward-thinking ethos, Dr. Manoj D’Souza SJ, director of SJIM, encouraged the students to imbibe the innovative spirit that defines SJIM.
