Crafting an Effective Total Rewards Strategy”: Insights from an Industry Expert


The second-year PGDM students of the Total Rewards Management elective at SJIM had the privilege of attending an industry expert class on "Crafting an Effective Total Rewards Strategy." The class was organized by Dr Nazia Z Memon, Assistant Professor at SJIM, and featured Ms Suchandra Dutta, the Head of People & Culture India at Alif Semiconductor.

Ms Suchandra Dutta is a seasoned HR leader with an impressive career spanning over 19 years. At Alif Semiconductor, a global leader in embedded flash memory and security solutions, Suchandra has been instrumental in shaping the HR landscape of the organization. With her extensive experience in strategy, consulting, program management, and HR practitioner roles, Suchandra brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

The guest lecture by Ms Dutta lasted for 90 minutes and featured active participation from second-year PGDM students. The presentation delved into Suchandra's experiences as the lead compensation strategist across various organizations. With a special focus on customizing compensation for individual employees and the process of benchmarking compensation, the session was a resounding success.
