On August 15, 2024, St Joseph's Institute of Management, Bangalore, proudly celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with a spirit of patriotism and unity. The event was graced by Gp Capt Rhonston Soans from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force, who served as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony began with the unfurling of the tricolour flag by Gp Capt Soans, accompanied by the national anthem sung with fervour by students, faculty, and staff. In his inspiring address, Gp Capt Soans called upon everyone to dedicate their lives to the service of the nation and emphasized the importance of contributing to nation-building in every possible way. His words resonated deeply with all present, reinforcing the values of dedication, responsibility, and patriotism.

The event concluded with a pledge to uphold the ideals of our freedom fighters and to work towards a prosperous and united India. We are proud to continue fostering a sense of national pride and commitment to excellence among our students and community.
