A Week of Ignatian Inspiration: Celebrating Creativity and Community


The feast day celebration of St. Ignatius of Loyola was a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and teamwork held from 15th to 18th July 2024 under the guidance and leadership of Dr. Nirmala Joseph and Mr. Jena S. The week-long event featured a series of competitions, culminating in a dynamic skit performance that captivated the audience.

Ignatius Week was a resounding success, highlighting the diverse talents and interests of the participants. From intellectual competitions to creative performances, the event fostered a sense of community and celebration. The organizers extend their gratitude to all participants, judges, and volunteers who contributed to making the week a memorable experience.

From July 15th to July 18th, a series of engaging and diverse competition were held, showcasing a variety of talents and fostering community spirit. Each day brought a new dimension of excitement and creativity, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.

July 15th: Inauguration and Flash Mob. The series began with a lively inauguration and an exhilarating flash mob, setting a high-energy tone.

July 16th: Spark – The Pitch. Participants presented innovative ideas, gaining insights into Ignatian Spirituality.

July 17th: Group Singing. A group singing session showcased vocal talents, fostering a sense of togetherness.

Feast Day of St. Ignatius of Loyola - 30th July

The celebration began with an interreligious prayer and an inspiring speech by Rev. Fr. Manoj D’Souza, highlighting Jesuit milestones. This was followed by cultural activities, including group singing and a skit on St. Ignatius' life, written and performed by first-year students and directed by Alfayad the 1st year PGDM student. The well-received skit combined humor and drama. The event series from July 15th to 30th was a resounding success, showcasing creativity, talent, and community engagement.
