Vayah Vikas, a dedicated NGO championing the welfare of senior citizens organized the lively Hiriyara Habba, or Senior Citizens' Day, in partnership with St. Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM), Bengaluru, in its campus. The event saw the participation of over 1,500 senior citizens from various professions and backgrounds, engaging in a day filled with learning, enjoyment, and camaraderie.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Syed Kirmani, alumnus of St. Joseph's and celebrated wicket-keeper of India’s 1983 World Cup-winning cricket team, and other eminent personalities.
The SJIM Catalyst Centre took this opportunity to feature ROSVIN, a newly incubated startup entity under the SJIM Catalyst’s entrepreneurial wing. The ROSVIN team showcased a wide array of handcrafted gifts and eco-friendly products, attracting considerable interest from attendees.
To promote SJIM, student volunteers—Ms. Surekha, Mr. Abhishek, and Mr. Alfayad—actively engaged in sharing insights about the institution's initiatives and achievements with guests.
