The Department of Human Resource at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management hosted Mr. Srijeet Sarkar, HR Director at redBus, for an insightful guest lecture on 8th July 2025. The session, organized by Prof. Nazia Memon, explored the future of Talent Management and showcased how redBus is leveraging technology to empower and engage its workforce.

Mr. Sarkar introduced students to several innovative platforms:
• RedLearn – a continuous upskilling platform designed to build employee capabilities.
• RedVerse – a VR-based onboarding experience that immerses employees into organizational culture.
• Omnia – a productivity tracking tool enabling data-driven employee development.
• OneSight – an analytics dashboard for actionable team and performance insights.

Students also experienced Oculus VR headsets, gaining firsthand exposure to how virtual reality is revolutionizing HR functions.
The lecture concluded with a vibrant Q&A, where students explored emerging HR tech trends, engagement strategies, and the future of talent management. The session successfully bridged theory with practice, leaving students inspired by the integration of human resources and technology.
