St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM) hosted Ms. Abarnashree Gurumoorthy, Senior Project Manager at Endava India, for an engaging guest lecture on 25th August 2025 at the Seminar Hall. The session, titled “Fintech Business Models,” provided students with a deep dive into the rapidly evolving world of financial technology.

Ms. Gurumoorthy offered a comprehensive overview of the fintech ecosystem, highlighting how innovation and technology are reshaping traditional banking systems. She explained the workings of Unified Payments Interface (UPI), simplifying one of India’s most widely adopted fintech applications.

She further explored career opportunities in fintech, encouraging students to pursue roles across marketing, technology, and financial innovation.
