St. Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM) celebrated Freshers' Day 2026 on 25 July 2026 at the Loyola Auditorium, warmly welcoming the new PGDM batch into the SJIM family. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Rev. Dr. Roshan David Pereira SJ, Director, and Dr. Rajiv Noronha, Dean, Ms. Jaishnu, Student council General Secretary and Mr. Dharnish Cultural Secretary symbolizing new beginnings and the pursuit of knowledge.

The Director and Dean addressed the gathering with inspiring and thought-provoking messages, encouraging the students to pursue academic excellence, nurture their individual strengths, and uphold the values of leadership and integrity.

The celebrations featured the exciting "Minute to Glory" talent showcase, captivating cultural performances by students, a lively performance by the SJIM Cultural Club Band, and spirited group singing and dance competitions that highlighted the creativity, confidence, and teamwork of the new batch. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where Section C was declared the Overall Champion. Freshers' Day 2026 served as a memorable beginning to campus life, fostering friendships, collaboration, and the vibrant spirit that defines the SJIM community. The event was organised under the leadership of Dr. Leo Deepak, the Faculty Coordinator.
