A half-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Artificial Intelligence: The Future of AI in Education” was conducted by Fr. Olvin Veigas, SJ faculty at SJIM, on January 1, 2025, for the Dominican Sisters of Charity, Bangalore. The Provincial Superior, Sr Anney OP welcomed Fr Veigas. The session explored AI’s potential to revolutionize education through tools like personalized learning and predictive analytics, while addressing ethical concerns like data privacy and algorithmic bias.

Interactive demonstrations gave participants hands-on experience with AI-powered educational tools. The program was well-received for its practical insights and focus on the ethical integration of AI in education.
