The program on "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its Applications in Higher Education" was conducted online on June 17, 2024, as part of a two-day workshop organized by FDTEPC & IQAC of St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The workshop focused on integrating Indian Knowledge Systems with modern educational methodologies. The session specifically targeting AI in higher education aimed to provide faculty members with insights into how AI can revolutionize teaching, learning, and research.

The session began with a warm welcome from Fr Dr Xavier S, SJ, the Principal of St. Xavier’s College. He introduced the speaker, Fr Olvin Veigas, SJ, highlighting his expertise and contributions to the field of AI and education. Fr Xavier emphasized the importance of understanding and leveraging AI to enhance the quality of education and research at the institution.
