St Joseph's Institute of Management, Bangalore hosted an informative and engaging Cybersecurity Awareness Drive for its first-year PGDM students. This initiative, conducted by fnCyber, as part of the CSR program aimed to create awareness and provide essential training in cybersecurity.

The sessions were led by Shamsheer Khan, the founder and Chief Security Architect of fnCyber, and Tara Raj, Business Head and Brand Relations Promoter at fnCyber. Both presenters brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the event. fnCyber's mission revolves around building a secure future by educating and empowering future generations. They believe that integrating cybersecurity into educational curriculums is crucial for fostering a cyber-aware and cyber-resilient society.

Students learned how to recognize various cyber threats they might encounter. The importance of protecting personal data was emphasized, along with practical steps to achieve this. Safe practices for online activities were discussed to help students navigate the digital world securely. Strategies and best practices for maintaining cybersecurity were discussed, emphasizing the need for ongoing vigilance and education.

St Joseph's Institute of Management and fnCyber are committed to continuing this mission and fostering a secure digital future for all. This industry-academia event is a way forward to enhance and integrate theory and practice in actual world.
