The inaugural function of the CSR club “Prayaas” for the I PGDM students was held on 5th July 2019. The function began with a dance performance that paid tribute to Lord Krishna. The dignitaries lit the lamp, while the prayer song was sung. Shri Shivakumaran K M, the Director (HR) of BEL, and Mrs Chethna, Founder of ‘Lets Tag on’ were the chief guests for the event. This was followed by a mime show by the II PGDM students who put forward their thoughts on environmental sustainability. The importance of planting a sapling was also portrayed which was the main theme for the event. The chief guests then addressed the gathering stating that management is a combination of technical expertise and social consciousness. They also shared their CSR conducted activities with the students. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the Head of the CSR club for the year, Ajai P P who encouraged the students to actively take part in the upcoming year activities.
