Dr. Caren Rodrigues was awarded the Junior Faculty Award at the Midwest Academy of Management, an affiliate of the Academy of Management, the premier body for academic research in management.
Dr. Caren Rodrigues is the Co-Chair of the Centre for Business Research at SJIM. She presented three papers at the annual conference of the academy. They were titled “How Country Level Factors affect Expatriate Adjustment”, “Word of Mouth and the Brand Image of Small Businesses: A Consumer Expectations Lens” and “When Subsidiaries Follow their parents’ CSR Focus: The Influence of Organizational Characteristics”. The latter two papers were co-authored with Dr. Anup Krishnamurthy. Thus, all three papers were outputs from the Research Centre in SJIM.
The 59th Midwest Academy of Management Conference was held in Fargo, North Dakota, USA from October 6th to October 8th 2016 and attended by over two hundred academics from across the world. All presented papers go through a double-blind, peer reviewed process, in keeping with norms for rigorous research.
