SJIM students present research papers at the 2017 Annual Conference of Emerging Markets Conference Board organized by the Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies, IIM Lucknow
Two of our students, Archana Gorur and Siddhi Ajmera, conducted research in their respective areas of interest at SJIM’s Center for Business Research under the guidance of the Chairs of the Center, Drs. Caren Rodrigues and Anup Krishnamurthy. This work resulted in two research papers co-authored by the Chairs and the students. The research output from the Center was submitted to the 2017 Annual Conference of Emerging Markets Conference Board organized by the Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies, IIM Lucknow.
Both students presented the papers at the IIM Lucknow conference held from 5th to 7th January 2017. Archana presented the paper titled, “Creating Image-Identity Congruence when Organizational Values are Consciously Changed: A Performance Management Perspective”, and Siddhi presented the paper titled “The Different Emotions in Viral Advertising: An Exploratory Study”.
The Annual Conference Series of the Emerging Markets Conference Board is the largest marketing conclave in the emerging world. It is dedicated to advancing the understanding of marketing in emerging economy countries and facilitate collaboration on emerging markets research. It is estimated that the 2017 Conference attracted participants from over 35 countries. The papers from SJIM were selected through a double blind peer reviewed process.
