On 30th April 2019, SJIM organized a one-day Leadership Program for the senior faculty of St. Joseph’s Pre-University College (Bangalore). The program was inaugurated with a prayer service by Fr. John Thomas SJ.

The program coordinator was Dr. Caren Rodrigues (SJIM), who also hosted the inaugural session apart from conducting some of the other program sessions. The remaining sessions were conducted by Fr. Joseph Rodrigues SJ and by Dr. Anup Krishnamurthy (SJIM). The sessions were designed to cover management principles that would best help the faculty in their role as educationists and administrators. The participants were introduced to some of the world’s best management tools, and were shown simple ways in which to apply these tools in their specific contexts. They also received an Ignatian perspective on management to use as a guide in their work life. Mr. P V Sudarshan, from the Chemistry department of SJPUC, gave the vote of thanks. All the sessions were received well by the participants.
