Rev. Fr. Manoj D'Souza, SJ
Fr. Manoj is a rank holder in BSc from Karnataka University. He has completed Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) from St. Aloysius College in Mangalore, obtaining distinction from Mangalore University. He has done MSc in Information and Web Technologies in London, securing merit class from the University of London. While studying, he was also elected as the student representative of UoL. He has submitted his PhD thesis in Computer Science. Besides, Fr. Manoj has a Bachelor in Philosophy (BPh) Degree with distinction from the prestigious Jnana Deepa Vidyapeet in Pune and a Bachelor in Theology (BTh) Degree from Vidya Jyothi, Delhi. He has also cleared KSET in Computer Science in 2015.
Fr. Manoj has many years of teaching experience. He has taught in St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore and St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) in Mangalore. Mostly he has taught post-graduate students and guided many students in their industry and research projects.
Fr. Manoj takes keen interest in research. His research interests include, Educational Trends, Higher Education, Computer Science Education, Management Education, Information Systems, Programming, Data Analytics etc.
He has presented papers at national conferences and published papers in both national and international journals. He has all his papers published in Scopus indexed journals. Recently, he has edited a book, which is published by United Scholars Publications, US. His publications are:
